Some of these can be abrasions, extra facets or other irregularities. Regular people are not able to see this blemishes, but trained professionals can tell the difference in gem quality. When sorted, the stones fall under grade categories. These are; type 1, type 2, and type 3. Type 1 gems are inclusion (material) free while type 2 has inclusions but are usually eye clean.
